TRIPS TO VENEZUELA: ASCENT TO THE RORAIMA

Trekking to the encounter of an unusual nature. In the borders of Venezuela and Brazil, the Roraima bulk is a rock set that evokes the remote origin in the precámbrica era when America and Africa formed a single continent.

Mythical mountains of Pemones Indians, plateaus that dominate the tropical forest, the Roraima keep a multitude from guns, their landscapes vary of the rainy forest to a rocky desert, the lichens and numerous plants epiphytes (orchids and bromelias) are the most showy elements of the endemic flora to 30%. Our passage will allow to discover the different environments us from the Roraima.

The ascent to the bulk is, doubtless, one of most beautiful treks of Tropical America.
Located in the Great Savannah, immense prairie from Venezuela to the Brazilian Amazon, is this one region of great spaces, beautiful crystalline water rivers, spectacular water jumps and where are the mythical silhouettes of the Tepuys, elevations in the form of flat plateau with difficult access by the verticalidad of its walls.

On board vehicles 4x4, we will discover the jumps of the Kama-Merú and the Kamoiran as well as the unusual life in the gold mines, main economic activity of this region. Little known by the Spanish public, this destiny by itself satisfies desires with explorer and discoverer with any traveller.

Difficulties of the Circuit
An average of 5 to 6 hours of daily long walk. The main difficulty resides in the adaptation to the tropical climate: humidity and sun.
