Located to the south of the White Mountain range, this hill set is one of the most beautiful places of Peruvian the $andes. Thanks to the difficult thing of his access, he has remained almost intact. Climate: Abundant rains during the months of December to March and a noticeable dry station, between May and October, with sunny days that reach 25° C and nights of intense cold.
Access: The locality of Chiquián is located approx to 360 km to the northeast of Lima and 50 km to the south of the White Mountain range.
Services: In the near towns of Llamac, Pocpa and Pacllon it is possible to contract to the services of guides and porteadores. Also expeditions can be organized from the near city of Huaraz. In Chiquián several simple restaurants and lodgings exist.
