The beach of Montañita is located to three hours of Guayaquil, to 60 km of the city of Santa Elena.
This small Ecuadorian coastal town, is full of tropical kindness; heat all the year, lukewarm sea, delicious fish, fruits and very warm people with the traveller.
Considered like the capital of surf in Ecuador, Montañita is a calm town during the day, but in the nights the bars are full of people, especially the week ends, when they arrive tourist from near cities like Guayaquil, in the holiday days and the national and international championships of surf, realized between February and March. Guadua sand, located to 500 meters to the north of the center of Montañita, is a town located in the Corner Santa Elena in the Province of the Guayas. It is possible to be arrived from Montañita walking by the beach towards the north (towards the place of surf “the End”).
