Geographic location: One is in the province of Aysén, XI Region, in 44º 22' of South latitude and 72º 25' of west longitude.

Climate: Marine tempering. Humid with abundant rains all the year, being increased during the winter. Snow in the high sectors.
Temperatures: The temperature annual average oscillates between 4º and 9º C, according to the zones of the Park.
Main attractive natural: Hanging blizzard Queulat, lagoon Icebergs; Risopatrón lake, Hill of the Queulat, Glacier Strong wall, Jump Father Garci'a, Portezuelo Queulat, Jump of the Condor and Stone of the Cat.
When to go: All the year.
What to do: Montañismo, trekking, cycling, fish, safaris photographic, observation of flora and fauna, kayac of sea.
The National Park Queulat is crossed by the “austral highway” in more than 40 km, which facilitates the access. One is in the northwest of the region, in the western slope of the Andean mountain range Patagónica, reason why it presents/displays an injured topography very, with rocky slopes and deep and escarped, spectacular valleys snow-covered and blizzards, that constitute a great sample of the happened freezing does thousands of years.
The highest summit within the Park is the Snow-covered High hill with 2.225m, from which the Hanging Blizzard is born
The National Park Queulat is a wild territory in pure state in which the always green forest with glaciers and ice fields of the Mountain range of the $andes coexist; to which there is to add the diversity of fiords and channels of the Austral Pacific Ocean. Great part of the territory remains still unexplored. This it is the unique Park of Chile of these characteristics at which it is possible to be arrived in car.
The fauna of the Park composes the birds essentially, like the black carpenter, chucao, huet-huet, cachaña, the fishing Martin. The forest is also habitat of pudús, culpeo fox, puma, yaws….Borders of the Park and swimming in waters of the Queulat Fiord and the Puyuhuapi Sine, toninas, wolves of sea and a great variety of marine birds like the beautiful swan of black neck are seen.
The vegetation is of type majestic rainy and cold forest always green composed of coigües, tepas, lumas, arrayanes, tineos, mañios, cinnamon-coloured, ciruelillos and an underbrush with an innumerable variety of ferns, coicopihues, flowers, enredaderas, quilas, chilco and nalcas.
Conaf (Forest National Corporation) is who administers the Park and has constructed a series of footpaths that penetrate in the forest and which they allow to go into in an enchanted world full of sounds of water and songs of bird.
It is an alive exponent of the Chilean forest to which the Chilean Nobel prize talks about, Pablo Neruda.
